Dragons Chess is a modern chess variant played on a 10×10 board with all the classic pieces plus a powerful new piece — the Dragon. It's available as a free-to-play mobile app on iOS and Android.
The Dragon can move up to 3 squares in any direction — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. After landing, it has a 'fire breath' ability that can capture adjacent enemy pieces. On the first move of the game, the Dragon cannot be captured (Dragon Shield).
Yes! Dragons Chess is completely free to download and play. Optional cosmetic purchases are available, including custom piece skins, board themes, and visual effects. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect gameplay.
Dragons Chess is available on iOS (requires iOS 15 or later) and Android (requires Android 10 or later). A web version is planned for the future.
Dragons Chess uses an Elo-based rating system. You earn Dragon Points by winning ranked matches and lose them for defeats. Your rank title updates based on your rating — from Bronze Pawn all the way up to Dragon King. Seasonal resets keep the leaderboard competitive.
Yes! You can play against AI opponents offline. However, online multiplayer matches, leaderboards, and ranked play require an internet connection.
You can report bugs or suspected cheating through the in-app report feature (tap the menu icon during or after a match), or contact us directly through our contact page. Please include as much detail as possible, including screenshots if available.
You can delete your account from the app settings under Profile → Account → Delete Account. This action is permanent and will remove all your data, including match history, rankings, and any purchased items. You can also request account deletion by contacting support@dragons-chess.com.
